Amy Poehler (/ˈpoʊlər/; nata il 16 settembre 1971) è un'attrice, comica, scrittrice, produttrice e regista americana. Dopo aver studiato improvvisazione al Second City di Chicago e all'ImprovOlympic nei primi anni '90, ha co-fondato la compagnia di improvvisazione e commedia Upright Citizens Brigade. Il gruppo si trasferì a New York City nel 1996, dove il loro spettacolo divenne una serie di sketch-commedia di mezz'ora su Comedy Central nel 1998.
