Sir Ian Murray McKellen (nato il 25 maggio 1939) è un attore britannico. Considerato uno dei più grandi interpreti teatrali e cinematografici della sua generazione, ha ottenuto fama internazionale interpretando Gandalf nelle trilogie de Il Signore degli Anelli e Lo Hobbit e Magneto nella serie di film degli X-Men. Nel corso della sua lunga carriera ha recitato in numerosi film, serie televisive e produzioni teatrali, ricevendo importanti riconoscimenti, tra cui un Tony Award, un Golden Globe e numerose candidature ai Premi Oscar ed Emmy.
